In class 12, there are 3 main streams which are Science, Commerce and Humanities. Each stream has its own importance and is different from others. The CBSE Syllabus for Class 12 is vast, and students need to have a proper strategy to cover the complete syllabus on time. Below are a few tips that will help students in doing so.

1) Go through the Syllabus

Students must go through the syllabus right at the beginning of the academic session. It will provide them with information regarding the topics, subtopics to be covered in each subject. Apart from it, they will also get to know the mark distribution and the number of periods required to finish a particular unit/chapter of the subject. The syllabus also contains a list of recommended books for students to refer to while studying. So, students are recommended to check the official syllabus and study according to it.

2) Follow the NCERT Textbooks

NCERT Textbooks are the most authentic resource for students. CBSE itself recommends schools, teachers and students to follow the NCERT Books. These textbooks cover the CBSE Syllabus and are written in such a way that students can grasp the concepts easily. Topics are explained with the help of diagrams and examples wherever necessary.

3) Make a Time Table

Students should create a timetable so that they have target-oriented studies. Just randomly studying will not take them anywhere. They need to have proper plans and timelines to finish a particular topic. It will help them in covering the entire syllabus on time so that they get enough time for revision as well before the board exams.

4) Take Regular Breaks While Studying

Students should avoid studying for long hours. They must take short breaks such as after every hour of study they can drink water and roam around for 10 mins to get refreshed. In this way, they can grasp concepts easily as their brain will be focused and active. Moreover, they won’t feel tired or sleepy while studying.
